Best Archery Bow For My Self?
I am looking for a solid compound bow and ideally would like to get a package to keep the costs down a little. i have been doing a lot of archery with a re curve bow at around 45 lb draw weight. i also have done some compound shooting and i just love it to the extreme. now ideally id like to get one with duel cams and around a 75 to a 80 percent let off. i have a draw length of around 28 inches. i don 't want to spent a wicked amount id say around 1600 dollars would be pushing the high side but its the max at last resort. if you could send some links to bows you see fit for myself please do send them. the draw weight id like is from 50 to max 70 pound i think 50 to 60 would be the operating weight for me so any help would be great, i do hunting but also do target practice. So it is close to my birthday and i am huge into archery and swords. i already have a recurve bow and multiple swords and knives, so i wanted something else to add to my (somewhat) medieval collection. i want a crossbow that is a reasonable price and that i can use for archery in my backyard. i do not go hunting, so i do not need a high-power crossbow. i would prefer something that matches a medieval look. I am new to archery, and have recently bought a martin jaguar takedown bow, size #50. here are some information on this bow: brace height: 7 inch mass weight: 2.7 pounds amo length: 60 inch right hand only draw weight: 30 poundafter i assembling the bow, even though the draw weight says 30 pound, but i couldn 't draw the bow to the point where i can place my right hand under my chin, in another word, i was only able to draw half way with the sting. i am wondering if the bow is not compatible with me, and if it is not the right bow for me, what type of recurve bow would you recommend someone who is a female, 5 "5 ' tall. I 'm 16.i 've always been fascinated with archery, but i recently went to the eye doctor and they said i had astigmatism in both eyes, but i have 20/ 20 vision. the only problem i have is things with contrast differences (white text against a black background) i get some ghosting. its a bit of a pain while driving at night, but in daytime its not noticeable at all.my schools having an archery class in the next few weeks, and am wondering if you need perfect vision?if it works out well, i might go bow hunting with my dad (just small game).i was told when i was a kid that you need "eagle eyes " to be any good at archery. i have 20/ 20 vision overall, but am just a bit nearsighted in my left eye (my right is dominant and its not noticeable at all) (Read answers)

How To Go About Starting An Archery Team In My High School?
I just got into archery and found out that my school does not have an archery team. i would love it if the school formed a team (or a club, but preferably a team so we could attend competitions, get varsity jackets, etc.).my school doesn 't even offer javelin though, because of an unfortunate accident with a javelin that happened like years ago (i think before i was even born!) that left an athlete blind in one eye. obviously, liability is definitely going to be an issue. i 'm a member of an archery club nearby, though, and i can get an instructor to come in and teach about safety if the principal of my school is seriously concerned about liability and safety.the main issue is cost and how to get the equipment. i want to get as much information as possible on the programs available--i 've already found nasp and asap. since i want to show my principal that this is something that could really benefit students and our school, i 'd like to give him as much information as i possibly can in order to let him/ other school administrators make a decision.any and all information possible is appreciated! thank you :3 (Read answers)

Okay, so my boyfriends birthday is coming up and i was thinking about gifts i could get him and stuff, and i know he really likes archery and that he target practices allot. so, what imma do is set up a archery target thing on the lean-to part of a shed and but new targets and stuff to put in it. but the back wall has a tin roof sheet on it. i don 't really know allot about archery and the bows, but would it damage the bows it be hitting the back of the wall? if it does then what could i do to help it?p.s.- i know that he shoots a compound bow and a regular wood one, if that makes any difference? How To Go About Starting An Archery Team In My High School?
I just got into archery and found out that my school does not have an archery team. i would love it if the school formed a team (or a club, but preferably a team so we could attend competitions, get varsity jackets, etc.).my school doesn 't even offer javelin though, because of an unfortunate accident with a javelin that happened like years ago (i think before i was even born!) that left an athlete blind in one eye. obviously, liability is definitely going to be an issue. i 'm a member of an archery club nearby, though, and i can get an instructor to come in and teach about safety if the principal of my school is seriously concerned about liability and safety.the main issue is cost and how to get the equipment. i want to get as much information as possible on the programs available--i 've already found nasp and asap. since i want to show my principal that this is something that could really benefit students and our school, i 'd like to give him as much information as i possibly can in order to let him/ other school administrators make a decision.any and all information possible is appreciated! thank you :3 (Read answers)

I Have Been Trying For The Past Month To Find An Archery Range Where I Could Do Archery?
First of all i live in keystone lake in pembroke pines fl, now the problem is:1) i have no experience doing archery2) i have to find an archery range or shooting range where they will teach archery3) the biggest problem is time, my parents are always busy, i cant drive yet, and the closest range i could find is 24 minutes away from my house by car, which isn 't very good(very busy)4) the lessons would need to be after 6h30 preferably5) i could rent bows(optional i could get my own)i really would like if a lot of people helped me on this and plz be serious, it can be very frustrating trying to find something so specific and ive been trying for a month even if you can verify all the things i asked for it would be very helpful to know if there is something closer (Read answers)
